This model provides institutions with confidential security contracts (XSC) for a functional necessity for @Dusk securities-related services and any useable cases among them. The full lifecycle management of securities and supporting all institutions regulatory compliance.
#dusk also uses zedger for digital representation, native issuance and management of securities in a privacy policy manner. Issuers of securities will be able to issue, manage and let investors trade securities as XSC tokens which is built to support users compliant, settlement and redemption of securities, preventing pre-approved users from having more than a single account. Its purpose is to support dividend distributions and voting, and can handle capped transactions.

The @Dusk ecosystem uses one of the most efficient tools to control users assets. All transactions on $DUSK will go through DuskDS which are managed by the transfer contracts. The transfer contracts oversees the handling of both transparent and obfuscation transactions within the network.
The #dusk transfer contracts supports both a UTXO and account-based model through phoenix and moonlight to handle users transfers from the native currency, gas payment and serve as a contract execution entry point. And the moonlight provides public transactions within phoenix enabled shielded transactions. * 8% of the XPL supply (800,000,000 XPL) will be immediately unlocked at Plasma’s mainnet beta launch to provide for certain DeFi incentives with strategic launch partners, liquidity needs, support exchange integrations, and to implement early ecosystem growth campaigns. 
* The remaining 32% (3,200,000,000 XPL) unlocks monthly on a pro-rata basis over the following three-year period, such that 100% of the Ecosystem and Growth allocation is unlocked on the date that is three years from the launch of the public mainnet beta.
