Dusk Network is a layer 1 blockchain protocol founded in 2018 with a focused objective, to provide financial infrastructure capable of supporting regulated activity while preserving confidentiality at the transaction and data level. Rather than pursuing scale, openness, or composability as primary goals, Dusk has been designed around a narrower but structurally demanding problem, how to enable institutional finance on public blockchain infrastructure without forcing a tradeoff between privacy, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
