- Đạo luật cũng nghiêm cấm phát hành stablecoin trả lãi cho người dùng, điều từng khiến nhiều loại stablecoin bị liệt vào diện chứng khoán và đặt ra hình phạt cho bất kỳ tổ chức nào vi phạm với mức phạt có thể lên đến 100.000 USD mỗi ngày.
- Một điểm đáng chú ý khác là khả năng các bang tại Mỹ được đề xuất và áp dụng cơ chế quản lý riêng cho stablecoin, miễn là quy định đó phải nghiêm ngặt tương đương hoặc cao hơn chuẩn liên bang. Điều này mở ra cơ hội cho các bang có lập trường thân thiện với crypto như Wyoming hay Florida có thể trở thành trung tâm phát hành stablecoin trong tương lai, nếu vượt qua được quy trình chứng nhận từ Bộ Tài chính liên bang.
