As of January 2026 the Global economy is undergoing a massive structural shift. Gold has crossed $5000 mark, silver price has crossed $ 100 mark in the month of January 2026 so De-Dollarization is not Just a theoretical phenomenon, It is happening right now.

1: JP Morgan Global Research has said that the demand for gold by the central banks is all time high , averaging 585 tons per quarter.
2: Goldman Sachs recently hiked the target for Gold to $ 5400, citing concerns over US fiscal debt and federal reserve independence.
3: Binance in January reported a significant divergence as gold hit $ 5000 and bitcoin retreated to $ 88000. This signals a reshaping of risk aversion logic .
Impact on crypto:
We will discuss it in two parts.
The current situation:
Previously Gold and Famous crypto like BTC, ETH,BNB etc. moved in tandem against the Dollar. But now because of high uncertainty, Currency investors are choosing hard assets like Gold and Silver over speculative digital currencies like BTC.
What may happen in the future:
Logically erosion of feat currency like dollar will eventually benefit digital assets like crypto currencies. If we analyse Gold to Bitcoin ratio(AXU:BTC) ,it is 16.75 which shows a clear sign of oversoldness of Bitcoin . Historically, a ratio below 20 is a buy call for Bitcoin. In October 2025 the ratio was 46, If Bitcoin were to revert to the ratio, the price has to reach to $ 240000.
Conclusion:
So clearly there is huge space for crypto (Bitcoin) to move forward But the only concern is Geopolitical tension between nations.
