SEC Responds to Ripple on Crypto Rules
The SEC’s Crypto Task Force agrees with Ripple that buying a token just to hope its price goes up should not automatically make it a security. A new idea was also shared to classify some cryptocurrencies as “Digital Value Instruments” instead of securities or commodities.
