Spot or Futures? Still Not Overthinking It.
Binance turns 8, and I’m just 8 days into my own crypto strategy crisis 😅
I started simple with a Spot Grid Bot (hello PEPE/USDT 👋), thinking slow and steady was the way. Then I peeked into Futures bots, saw a trader pull in double their margin in 3 days… and now I’m spiraling.
Do I play it safe or go full “high-risk, high-reward”?
Do I stop a barely moving spot bot or wait for a bounce?
Should I build my own grid or copy someone smarter than me?
Truth is, I’m learning more through the indecision than the profit (though I wouldn’t mind both!).

Can’t Decide — PEPE, 1000SATS, or Something New?
I’ve been circling the “Create Futures Grid Bot / Strategy” screen on Binance like a hawk, but I just can’t commit. 😅
I’ve got $10 set aside, a cautious but curious mindset, and a list of coins that all seem promising in their own way:
• PEPE/USDT — meme magic and micro-volatility, feels safe-ish.
• 1000SATS/USDT — explosive potential, charts looking spicy right now.
• CROSS, AIN, $SOL — tempting, but are they too risky for a beginner?
I’m trying to build my own strategy and learn as I go — not just blindly copy a bot — but that’s making the decision even harder.
Anyone else get stuck in “analysis paralysis”?
Should I just flip a coin? 😂
Would love to hear what helped you choose your first Futures bot pair.

When Your Grid Bot Gets Left Behind…
So I set up my first Spot Grid Bot with $BANANAS31 $USDT when the price was around $0.0135, thinking I’d catch some nice little up-and-down moves.
Fast-forward a few days, and the price shot up to around $0.0189 — which sounds great, right? Except… I got this message:
“The price has exceeded the range of this grid.”
Which basically means:
My bot is still alive, but it’s not doing anything — the price went above my top range and now it’s just watching the action from the sidelines 🫠
I learned a few things:
- Always give your grid some room above and below the price
- Bots aren’t magic — you still need to follow the market
- Don’t panic, just adapt
I’m now thinking of atopping it and researcg anther bot with a new range closer to the current price (or maybe just selling manually while it’s bullish).
Anyone else had their bot get “stuck” like this? How do you decide whether to restart it or go manual?

My First BTC Buy — What It Felt Like
I bought my first BTC when it was around $49,000 — about $50 worth at the time. It felt exciting, risky, and empowering all at once.
Fast forward a bit, and it’s now sitting at around $70 — not a huge jump in absolute value, but for me, it’s a milestone.
I’ve staked it for now, playing it safe while I focus on learning the real stuff:
• Technical analysis (so many candles, so little clarity)
• Economic news (figuring out which headlines actually move the market)
• And honestly? My hardest challenge is documenting my journey.
Still, I’m here. Still learning. And still amazed at how much $50 has taught me.
