About Highstreet (HIGH)
Highstreet is a commerce-centric metaverse that is merging VR with play-and-earn mechanics. It builds on the concept of “phygital” products, which means blending digital products with physical ones. As per their white paper, the project enables a two-way currency flow between physical and digital worlds, creating a marketplace where in-game items can be redeemed for real-life products.
Highstreet's in-game economy features two main currencies: HIGH Token and StreetCred. HIGH Token, an ERC-20 token, is used for essential purchases like homes and cosmetics. StreetCred, an off-chain currency that only exists in the game, is used for everyday items such as weapons and healing supplies.Players earn by crafting valuable items and minting them as NFTs, which can be sold on the open market, rather than mining HIGH Token directly through game play.
HIGH token’s primary use cases include in-game access and currency, purchasing virtual real estate, and limited edition products.
