How to Buy Bitcoin (BTC): A Step-By-Step Guide

Buying Bitcoin on Binance is simple, fast, and secure. Follow these four steps to instantly buy Bitcoin with the lowest fees and highest security standards, using one of the many payment options that Binance offers.

    Binance is a centralized exchange where you can buy Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies. Before you can use the Binance platform, you'll need to open an account and verify your identity. Verification unlocks higher limits for you and keeps Binance a safe place to buy Bitcoin.

    1. Buy Bitcoin with Debit / Credit CardIf you are a new user, the easiest and safest option to buy Bitcoin is with a debit or credit card.
      1. Navigate to buy Bitcoin with USD page on Binance.
      2. Select Bitcoin and USD from the dropdown menu.
      3. Choose "Card" as the payment method, and click "Confirm".
      4. "Add New Card" will appear if you have not bought or other crypto assets in Binance using debit or credit card before. Click "Add New Card", enter card details, and click "Confirm.
      5. On the payment confirmation page, verify details and confirm the order within the time limit. Use 'Refresh' for a new quote.
      6. Click "Confirm" to place your buy order.
      7. You will be redirected to your bank's OTP transaction page. Follow the instructions to verify the payment.
      8. Once verified, the purchased will appear in your Spot Wallet.
    2. Buy Bitcoin with Google Pay or Apple Pay
      1. Navigate to buy Bitcoin with USD page on Binance.
      2. Select Bitcoin and USD from the dropdown menu.
      3. Choose either "Google Pay" or "Apple Pay" as your payment method and press "Confirm".
      4. Click the "Buy Bitcoin" button.
      5. On the payment confirmation page, verify details and confirm the order within the time limit. Use 'Refresh' for a new quote.
      6. Click "Confirm" to place your buy order.
      7. The coin will appear in your Spot Wallet.
    3. P2P TradingBuy Bitcoin directly from other users with Binance’s peer-to-peer service.
      1. Navigate to the Binance P2P page to buy Bitcoin.
      2. Choose your preferred local currency, click on the "BTC" trading pairs, and select from a wide range of supported payment methods.

    4. Buy Bitcoin with Binance Convert
      1. Navigate to [Trade] - [Convert & Block Trade].
      2. Choose between the available modes: Instant, Recurring, or Limit.
      3. Select the token you want to convert from in the [From] field, and choose Bitcoin in the [To] field.
      4. Preview the quote and confirm your transaction before the timer expires.
      5. Once processed, your Bitcoin will be distributed to the selected wallet.

    5. Buy Bitcoin with Binance Spot
      Binance Spot allows you to buy Bitcoin at real-time market prices with access to advanced order types, deep liquidity, and hundreds of trading pairs.
      1. Navigate to [Trade] - [Spot].
      2. In the search bar, type BTC and choose a supported trading pair (e.g., BTC/BTC or BTC/USDC).
      3. Choose your preferred order type:
        1. Market Order: Buy Bitcoin instantly at current market price
        2. Limit Order: Set your own price to buy Bitcoin once the market reaches it
      4. Enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to purchase.
      5. Click Buy Bitcoin to execute your order.
      6. Once processed, your purchased Bitcoin will be available in your Spot Wallet.
    6. Third Party PaymentThere are multiple options for third-party payment channels. Please, visit the Binance FAQ to check which ones are available in your region.

    You have 1 minute to confirm your order at the current price. After 1 minute, your order will be recalculated based on the current market price. You can click Refresh to see the new order amount.

    After you buy Bitcoin, you can either store it in your personal crypto wallet or simply hold it in your Binance account.
