About Coin98 (C98)
Coin98 is positioned as an all-in-one decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that enables users to buy and sell multiple cryptocurrencies in its exchange portal, as well as store assets in its multi-chain wallet. The platform also features coin launching, financing, and auditing services for DeFi projects that need such fundamental support.
Coin98 is was founded by tech entrepreneur and experienced engineer Thanh Le in 2017. The Vietnam-based entity started as a research group searching for investment opportunities in the crypto industry. After the market experienced a downtrend and many projects put crypto on the backburner, Thanh Le continued and the initiative eventually evolved into Coin98.
While Coin98’s native token C98 is available through cross-chain swapping on multiple blockchain networks, it is primarily deployed on the Ethereum blockchain network and therefore, directly compatible with other ERC-20 tokens. As a result of the Ethereum Merge, it is now validated using proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus.
