Most indicators look backward (at price history), while Volume Profile shows what is happening inside the market right now. It displays trading volume not over time, but at specific price levels.
🤔 What does this give a trader?
Traditional volume (vertical) tells us when heavy trading occurred. Volume Profile (horizontal) tells us at what price heavy trading occurred. This allows you to identify true support and resistance levels.
✅ Key concepts you need to know
🟢 POC (Point of Control) — the price level where the highest volume was traded during the selected period. This is where the greatest interest from large players is concentrated.
🟢 Value Area (VA) — the value zone. The range where 70% of total trading volume occurred. Inside this zone, price is considered “fair.”
🟢 High Volume Nodes (HVN) — peaks on the profile. These are levels where price spent a lot of time. They act like magnets and strong support/resistance zones.
🟢 Low Volume Nodes (LVN) — gaps or valleys in the profile. These are areas the market moves through quickly. The market considers these prices uninteresting.
💡 How to use this in trading
1️⃣ POC test
If price moves far away from the Point of Control (POC) and then returns to it, expect a reaction. Very often, this creates an ideal entry point in the direction of the prevailing trend.

Today’s decline on Gold wasn’t just a manipulation — it was a massive Bear Trap. While many rushed to sell, we stayed patient and skipped the noise, waiting for the market to reveal its true intent.
The Current State: Price has shown a strong bullish reaction to a previously created FVG (Fair Value Gap) and a key support trendline. This confirms that the internal order flow remains bullish despite the local shakeout.
⚡️ Two Ways to Play This:
Option 1: The Sniping Entry (Aggressive) — Watch the local FVG around $5,020. We are looking for a reversal candlestick formation (like a Pin Bar or Bullish Engulfing) inside this gap.
Goal: Catch the bounce at the very beginning.
Option 2: The Confirmation Entry (Conservative) — Wait for the price to break and close above the $5,062 resistance zone. This would confirm that the bears are fully defeated and the path to higher targets is clear.
Goal: Higher probability, less "noise."

Primary Target: $5,150.00
Patience is a trade itself. Don't chase the candle—let the setup come to you. 🛡
