US consumers’ perceived probability of finding a new job within 3 months after losing one fell to 43.1% last month, the lowest on record (since 2013).

This is even lower than the 2020 crisis low and the previous all-time low of 45.7%.

In just 18 months, the percentage has declined –13 points.

At the same time, the perceived probability of losing a job jumped to 15.2%, one of the highest readings since the 2020 crisis.
