📉 $SOL Futures – Honest Trading Lesson (My Mistake)

Today I made a classic futures mistake, so sharing this as a reminder for everyone (and myself).

I opened a SOLUSDT LONG:

• Entry: 133.5

• Size: 4 SOL

• Leverage: 6x isolated

The problem?

❌ I forgot to set my trailing stop / stop-loss.

Market didn’t care about my feelings 😅

SOL kept bleeding, buyers never showed up, and price dropped to ~127.

📊 Result:

• PNL: –$25 USDT

• Closed manually and accepted the loss.

2️⃣ Leverage longs in a weak market = low probability

Better plays are:

• Shorts on resistance

• Spot DCA at strong support

• Waiting for structure flip before longing futures
