@Dusk started in 2018 with a clear goal. It wanted to build blockchain infrastructure that works for regulated finance, where privacy and compliance can live together. The network uses two types of transactions. Moonlight is for public transfers and Phoenix is for private transfers. The Dusk Web Wallet lets users switch between both depending on what the situation requires.
The roadmap moves step by step from Daybreak to Aurora and shows how the team plans its development in stages. $DUSK has also shared its mainnet milestones openly with the community.
The project announced a partnership with Chainlink to work on interoperability standards like CCIP so regulated assets can move safely across different ecosystems.
Many of the core components are written in Rust which gives the network strong security and high performance.
