Dusk is a blockchain designed for situations where money moves under rules, not in chaos. The core idea is simple but often ignored: financial activity needs privacy to function normally, and it also needs accountability to remain legal and trusted. Dusk was built to support both at the same time. It does this by offering two ways to transact on the same network. Some activity can be fully visible when transparency is required, while other activity can stay private using cryptographic proofs that still show the rules were followed. The base layer focuses on fast and clear settlement so users know when value has truly moved. On top of that, Dusk supports familiar smart contract tools so builders are not forced to relearn everything. I’m drawn to Dusk because they’re not trying to hide finance from regulation, they’re trying to make regulation compatible with privacy, which is how long term adoption actually happens.
