ETHZilla, an Ethereum treasury management firm, purchased two CFM56-7B24 jet engines for $12.2 million via a new aerospace subsidiary. These engines are leased to a major airline as part of a diversification strategy. The firm raised funds by selling over $114.5 million worth of Ethereum but has seen its shares decline roughly 97%.
