Trump Media raises $2.3 billion, plans to build a vault for Bitcoin

On June 14, Trump Media filed a document called S-3 with the SEC. The content of the filing states that they want to raise a significant amount of capital for activities related to CRYPTO.

In their recent fundraising round, they raised $2.3 billion from about 50 large investors. The goal is to use this money to build a high-security cold storage vault for Bitcoin, a top-tier vault that is hack-proof.

Trump Media stated that besides the vault, they also want to use the funds for other purposes, such as developing CRYPTO products, expanding their ecosystem, like creating apps, enhancing security, and dealing with various DeFi virtual financial instruments. They also intend to issue more stocks and bonds in large quantities. They are using a "shelf registration" essentially to allow for additional fundraising whenever needed, without having to wait.
