📢 Ukraine to Legalize Cryptocurrency

ℹ️ The Verkhovna Rada has supported a draft law in the first reading to legalize cryptocurrency, according to MP Zheleznyak. To comply, individuals will need to file a declaration and pay a 10% tax (5% personal income tax + 5% military levy).

▪️ General tax — 18% + 5% on profits (starting from 2027)
▪️ First year — preferential rate of 5% + 5% on profits based on the sale exchange rate when converting to fiat (starting from 2026)
▪️ Interestingly, trading will only be allowed on exchanges registered with the Ukrainian tax authorities.
