However - countries are expected to take steps either to counter or to support affecting US indirectly - And all these Tariffs end of the day has to be Borne by โกโกUS citizens onlyโกโก - Inflation will rise, competitive advantage rise , Job Markets will be affected - Who would be the loser & whom to Blame?๐ค
For Instance : India supplies 41% of total Medical supplies๐โ๏ธ especially API's - Now, US charged 50% Tariff on Medical Imports from India -Will US will be able to get the 41% supplies from Anywhere else ?- If not - Wouldn't it risk the critical healthcare in US - Patients & related sectors such as Insurance needs to bear the brunt of these decisions ? - Will it not Impact further : Premiums will increase, contribution increases, affordability reduces etc
