Thông tin này được Bộ trưởng, Chủ nhiệm Văn phòng Chính phủ Trần Văn Sơn – Người phát ngôn của Chính phủ – công bố tại buổi Họp báo Chính phủ thường kỳ tháng 1, diễn ra vào chiều ngày 4/2.
Theo ông Trần Văn Sơn, Chính phủ và Thủ tướng Chính phủ đặc biệt quan tâm đến diễn biến của thị trường vàng và sẵn sàng các biện pháp bình ổn. Ông nhấn mạnh mục tiêu: "Phấn đấu trước ngày 10/2 đưa vào vận hành sàn giao dịch vàng".
Việc thành lập và vận hành sàn giao dịch vàng quốc gia được kỳ vọng sẽ giải quyết các vấn đề tồn tại của thị trường như: tăng tính công khai, minh bạch, bảo đảm an toàn, hạn chế các hành vi đầu cơ thao túng giá, qua đó hỗ trợ công tác quản lý nhà nước hiệu quả hơn.

Bên cạnh thị trường vàng, Chính phủ cũng đồng thời đặt ra các mục tiêu lớn nhằm hoàn thiện cấu trúc thị trường tài chính và tài sản. Cụ thể, cùng với mốc thời gian trước 10/2, Chính phủ yêu cầu:
Thí điểm vận hành sàn giao dịch tài sản mã hóa.Thành lập trung tâm giao dịch bất động sản và quyền sử dụng đất do Nhà nước quản lý.Những động thái này nằm trong nhiệm vụ trọng tâm nhằm giữ vững ổn định kinh tế vĩ mô, kiểm soát lạm phát và bảo đảm các cân đối lớn. Theo ghi nhận tại phiên chiều ngày 4/2:
Vàng miếng SJC: Tăng sốc 5,2 triệu đồng/lượng ở cả hai chiều mua và bán tại các doanh nghiệp lớn (SJC, DOJI, PNJ...). Giá bán ra đã chạm mức kỷ lục 180,2 triệu đồng/lượng.Vàng nhẫn tròn trơn: Cũng tăng trên diện rộng, dao động quanh mốc 179,7 – 180,2 triệu đồng/lượng.Vàng nữ trang: Ghi nhận mức tăng mạnh, cá biệt có doanh nghiệp điều chỉnh vàng nữ trang 24K tăng gần 7 triệu đồng/lượng.

Ngày 24/1: Tại Công điện số 06, Thủ tướng chỉ đạo Ngân hàng Nhà nước khẩn trương hoàn thiện hồ sơ, xem xét đề xuất thành lập sàn giao dịch vàng.Ngày 26/1: Tại Phiên họp thứ hai của Ban Chỉ đạo về quản lý điều hành kinh tế vĩ mô, Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính đã yêu cầu các bộ, ngành phải khẩn trương đưa sàn vàng vào vận hành ngay trong tháng 2.Thí điểm sàn giao dịch tài sản mã hóa và bất động sản
Bên cạnh thị trường vàng, Chính phủ cũng đồng thời đặt ra các mục tiêu lớn nhằm hoàn thiện cấu trúc thị trường tài chính và tài sản. Cụ thể, cùng với mốc thời gian trước 10/2, Chính phủ yêu cầu:
Thí điểm vận hành sàn giao dịch tài sản mã hóa.Thành lập trung tâm giao dịch bất động sản và quyền sử dụng đất do Nhà nước quản lý.Những động thái này nằm trong nhiệm vụ trọng tâm nhằm giữ vững ổn định kinh tế vĩ mô, kiểm soát lạm phát và bảo đảm các cân đối lớn. Chính phủ cũng đặt mục tiêu thu ngân sách Nhà nước năm 2026 vượt ít nhất 10% so với năm 2025, song song với việc định hướng tín dụng vào các lĩnh vực sản xuất – kinh doanh và nhà ở xã hội.

Quyết định vận hành sàn giao dịch vàng được đưa ra trong bối cảnh giá vàng trong nước đang có những biến động chưa từng có.
Theo ghi nhận tại phiên chiều ngày 4/2:
Vàng miếng SJC: Tăng sốc 5,2 triệu đồng/lượng ở cả hai chiều mua và bán tại các doanh nghiệp lớn (SJC, DOJI, PNJ...). Giá bán ra đã chạm mức kỷ lục 180,2 triệu đồng/lượng.Vàng nhẫn tròn trơn: Cũng tăng trên diện rộng, dao động quanh mốc 179,7 – 180,2 triệu đồng/lượng.Vàng nữ trang: Ghi nhận mức tăng mạnh, cá biệt có doanh nghiệp điều chỉnh vàng nữ trang 24K tăng gần 7 triệu đồng/lượng.
Việc giá vàng liên tục lập đỉnh mới và chênh lệch lớn đang tạo áp lực không nhỏ lên công tác điều hành chính sách tiền tệ và tâm lý thị trường. Do đó, việc vận hành sàn giao dịch vàng trước ngày 10/2 được xem là bước đi then chốt để "hạ nhiệt" và đưa thị trường vào khuôn khổ quản lý chặt chẽ hơn.
