@CZ posted an explanation of his well known phrase and faced a huge wave of baseless criticism. @Anndy Lian wrote a very good thread on X, and since we know him well, we will quote it, we think he will not mind.

What we would like to add from our side is this, before you say nasty things about another person, try at least to understand the situation a little on your own, otherwise your statements just look stupid.

October crash Being the leader in the space, leading by example is
important. The need for good PR management during such crash is key.
Being the leader and coming out to share what is the crash about,
what did Binance react, who were involved, what was the damages were
important. Refunding $ is not the key, not enough. Again, this is not
CZ’s fault. This is about doing better.

Listing “ I don’t know” CZ needs to give his colleagues a
chance to do their job. I don’t think he meant I don’t care. It’s
I don’t know the full details. With that said, listing is a process
that needs to show clear direction. If no clear direction, then
projects will do otherwise. Eg if they state very clear that X
volume, X new KYC users and X results for Alpha to Spot. Then
projects will not lose direction. CZ’s guidance to the team is
needed. Again, not his fault

Aster, number 1 perps dex I still believe in the mission and goal.
Goal to number 1 is not easy but it should not be forgotten: CZ being
the advisor (maybe just investor) should be there to make sure this
goal is achieved. Hype did well this last week. I hope to see bro CZ
steps up to push for awareness. After all, DEX is the future right?

CZ as advisor Increasing we see CZ becoming advisors to projects and
governments. Governments are ok but I think CZ should rethink about
projects. This advisory process should be improved. It gives retail
the wrong impression.

CZ involved in fake numbers There are also rumours in the Chinese
market saying projects with CZ as advisor has no real volume, fake
user base eg in short time hundred of thousands of user base. I don’t
think CZ is directly involved in such metrics. I am not sure where
they get this trend from. Maybe from A brand and G brand’s post.
User base numbers and other important metrics should be as real as
possible. CZ will surely condemn them for fake metrics if any of
these were real. I am sure of that.

Invest in friends companies only I don’t think this is correct. I
know thru his family office. They have invested in many projects that
they do not know (not friends). If you say they invested into
scammers, ok I think there are scammy ones that I know. But saying
they invest in friends only is not correct. They invest in
possibilities and things that will help the industry.
