Bad Bunny became the first Latin American to headline the Super Bowl and politics were inevitable.
The artist performed his hit “El Apagón”, considered an unofficial anthem of resistance in Puerto Rico, and framed the entire show as a “love letter” to Latin America, emphasizing: “America is not just the United States.”
During “Café Con Ron” and “DtMF”, he shouted “God Bless America” and listed 23 countries across North, Central, and South America (from Mexico to Argentina and Canada) while dancers carried their national flags.
Bad Bunny shared the stage with Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Cardi B, and Karol G, as well as actors Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba.
➡️ Trump didn’t hold back, calling the show “absolutely terrible” and “an insult to American greatness.”
