Julius Caesar had a single person and friend whom he trusted: it was his physician. Moreover, if he was ill, he only took medicine when the physician personally handed it to him.
One day, when Caesar was not feeling very well, he received an anonymous note: "Beware of your closest friend, your physician. He wants to poison you!"
After a while, the physician came and handed Caesar the medicine. Caesar showed his friend the note he had received and, while he read it, drank the medicinal mixture to the last drop.
The physician froze in horror:
— Master, how could you drink what I gave you after reading this?
To which Caesar replied:
— Better to die than to doubt my friend!
