When under patriotic nonsense 'how we will endure' someone wrote - 'we will not endure', some replied that the city will soon drown in filth and there will be no way back.
Anna Makarenko:
I read how our catastrophe is presented as heroism, a feat.
S-ka, when trouble starts to be sold as a feat, trouble ceases to be trouble.
Heroism is a choice.
And when people sit without light, heat, water, gas, not sleeping normally for weeks, this is not a choice. This is a humanitarian catastrophe!!!!
Well, if we wrap the catastrophe in a beautiful package — we are strong, we will manage, then the outside world hears not pain, but stability.
Hearing means it is tolerable, not scary.
And help becomes not urgent, but planned, bureaucratic, slow.
Because in human psychology everything is simple.
Who gets help immediately? Those who scream and whose house is really burning.
And not those who smile and say - we are heroes.
Propaganda makes it seem heroic not for us, but for the convenience of the system.
To not acknowledge the failure, not to recognize the scale of the disaster, not to make decisions that are difficult and unpopular.
Well, this is needed by them, and we need to scream very loudly that we are dying.
We need to lay out this darkness, cold, destroyed houses and not write we will endure, write: Save us!
And if this is not stopped, we will simply start to disappear and no one will notice it.
