Spacecoin launched its SPACE token on January 23, two days after announcing a partnership with World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the decentralized finance platform backed by the Trump family.

The token made its debut on the spot markets of Binance Alpha and OKX with a market capitalization of about 37 million dollars.

The satellite-based blockchain project is trading at $0.017 after hitting an all-time high of $0.028 on the day of launch. SPACE has dropped by about 39% from its peak within 24 hours of the start of trading.

The partnership includes a token exchange between Spacecoin and WLFI. The USD1 stablecoin from World Liberty Financial, valued at $3.2 billion, will be integrated into Spacecoin's satellite infrastructure to enable payments in underserved regions.

Claims of the satellite network

Spacecoin operates three satellites in low Earth orbit as part of the CTC-0 and CTC-1 missions. CTC-0 was launched in December 2024, followed by three satellites for the CTC-1 mission in November 2025.

The project claims that these satellites demonstrate blockchain-based communication from space. Spacecoin positions itself as an infrastructure aimed at providing internet connectivity without relying on traditional telecom operators or government approval.
