$XRP Wallet Data Shows Adoption Still Has Room to Grow
Recent on-chain data suggests that XRP adoption may still be in an early phase, despite the asset being active for nearly 13 years. According to wallet distribution metrics, around 45% of all XRP wallets hold between 1 and 100 XRP, while another 22% hold between 100 and 1,000 XRP.
This means the majority of XRP holders control relatively small balances. Wallets holding larger amounts become increasingly rare as balances rise. For example, only about 10% of wallets hold between 10,000 and 100,000 XRP, while wallets with over 1 million XRP account for less than 2% of the total.
With approximately 7.5 million XRP wallets in existence, the holder base remains much smaller compared to older networks like Bitcoin. Some community members believe this gap highlights potential room for broader adoption in the future.
The data also shows that large holders make up a small portion of the network, while most participants remain retail users with modest balances. This distribution continues to shape discussions around XRP’s long-term growth and usage.
