Private investors are moving away from cryptocurrency

🪫Since 2021, the number of active users of the largest cryptocurrency platforms has decreased by 30%. In the first quarter of 2023, retail investors withdrew about 3 billion dollars from cryptocurrency assets. The share of retail investors in the market still stands at about 60%, but their trading volumes have declined due to price drops in 2022.

The main factor for their departure is the lack of clear prospects for the next 12 months, and 68% of investors believe that cryptocurrencies will not show significant growth. The market is also significantly influenced by increased regulation and tax hikes.

Institutional investors still maintain a presence in cryptocurrencies. Over the weekend, the global cryptocurrency market experienced the largest drop this year and lost more than 100 billion dollars in capitalization in one day. #TrumpCancelsEUTariffThreat #GoldSilverAtRecordHighs #MarketRebound $BTC $XRP $BNB
