1/➮ I've been through 3 bull runs, making ~$5M in crypto starting from $8k
✧ Most of profit came cause I studied cycles, timings, and patterns
✧ It’s not about dragons, shoulders, heads, and other nonsense ppl draw on charts
2/➮ Let’s start with a simple and obvious basic theory:
✧ Assets top when they look absolutely best
✧ Just like assets bottom when there is no worse situation
✧ And history has provided plenty of evidence for this in crypto
✧ So the key question to always ask yourself in a bull run to spot the top:
✧ Are there still potential growth catalysts that aren’t priced in yet?
3/➮ One of the best examples is the FTX collapse
✧ When things are at their grimmest, it means they can only get better
✧ And when things are at their best, they can only get worse
✧ It’s very important not to get confused by all of this
4/➮ Now we see that retails are leaving the market
✧ Many have lost money, which is a necessary condition for growth
✧ Everyone has lost hope and thinks that crypto can only go down now
But it’s not that simple
5/➮ On the other hand, we have the perfect setup for crypto to grow:
- Pro-crypto President
- Mass adoption
- U.S. BTC reserve
✧ In fact, it’s hard to imagine a situation more ideal than the one we have now
And actually, this is a problem...
6/➮ If we believe in the theory I described above, right now is the moment when we can only go down
✧ At the same time, indicators don’t point to a top, and timing suggests that we should be in an altseason
So where are we now?
7/➮ We are in a situation where if we go down, it means:
- Cycles no longer work
- BTC
becomes a macro asset
✧ Also, many talked about a plan to go stable in April-May and come back in Q3
When the majority thinks the same—it doesn’t happen
8/➮ That's why I'm inclined to see the current situation as not ideal
✧ BTC will indeed likely become more of a macro asset, but the cycle itself will remain the same
✧ Because if we exclude BTC, the market situation is actually as bad as it gets
9/➮ Alts looks bad rn, and that’s exactly why they’re about to go up
✧ This is further supported by BTC dominance at supply and ETH/BTC at demand
✧ The last time this happened, alts went parabolic hard
✧ Same as the cycles now points to an upcoming altseason
10/➮ We are at a crucial point in the market right now
✧ I’ve roughly outlined both possible scenarios for you
✧ And considering crypto’s history, I lean more toward further growth
✧ However, I wouldn’t take risky moves right now—just hold if you have positions
