I would like to request clarification regarding a futures trading issue that many users are facing.
When a futures trade is already running on a specific coin, and we try to open another Buy (Long) order on the same coin, the existing position automatically closes instead of opening a new position.
Could you please explain:
Why does the first trade close when placing a second trade on the same coin?
Is this related to Position Mode (One-Way vs Hedge Mode)?
Is there any way to open multiple positions on the same coin without closing the previous one?
This feature can be confusing for traders, especially beginners, and a clear explanation or improvement would be very helpful.
