#TrumpEndsShutdown President Donald Trump enacted a bill on Tuesday to reopen most of the government, officially ending the partial shutdown that began last weekend.
The House of Representatives passed the bill by a narrow margin, with 217 votes in favor and 214 against, on the same day, after the Senate approved it the week before. Much of the government has remained closed since Saturday morning.
