#walrus $WAL
Just brushed up, Walrus recorded a single-day upload volume of 17.8 TB, which is the highest single-day data volume on the platform so far, more than double the previous highest record.
This data also reflects the actual performance of the infrastructure in handling larger scale uploads. Walrus is built on the Sui network, supporting chain-agnostic data storage and transactions, mainly targeting scenarios such as AI model training and dataset sharing. From recent trends, upload volume has been gradually increasing, with a significant rise observed in late January.
Currently, several projects and developers are using the platform to upload training data, media files, and other content. The single-day volume of 17.8 TB indicates that the system's stability and throughput capacity under real load have reached a certain level.
In simple terms, Walrus is still continuously optimizing and will further support more application scenarios in the future.
