Today I was reading about @Plasma and

And honestly I found the idea quite interesting. most blockchains try to do many things at the same time, like DeFi, NFTs, gaming, and Payments. But plasma seems to have a very clear focus: Stablecoins and Payments.

Plasma is a layer 1 Blockchain that is specially designed for stablecoin settlement. That means it wants to make trasfers of coins like USDT very fast, cheap and simple. From what I learned, Plasma supports full EVM compatibility, so all Etherium apps and sites can work on it.

The feature that really catch my attention is the focus on Sub-Second finality and gasless USDT transfers. For normal Users speed and low cost matter a lot. People do not wait long or pay high fees to just send money. If plasma can really make stablecoin payments smooth, it can be very useful for daily transactions, remittance and even Businesses.
