The main theme of Binance in May is Alpha airdrop and Alpha points!

This article will tell you how to calculate Alpha points, how to earn Alpha points most cost-effectively and with the lowest wear and tear, as well as the statistics of recent airdrop returns, which can be used as a reference for future score earning!

Alpha Points Calculation Rules

Alpha Points are composed of two parts: Balance Points (it counts as long as you hold assets, it doesn’t have to be a certain type of asset) and Trading Volume Points (it counts only if you trade Alpha tokens):

You will get one Alpha point every day, and your total Alpha point is the sum of the past fifteen days.

That is to say, on the sixteenth day, your first day points will expire and be reset to zero, so Alpha points are not added up indefinitely, only the sum of the last fifteen days counts.

The detailed rules are as follows:

Balance Points

  • $100-$999: 1 point

  • $1,000-$9,999: 2 points

  • $10,000-$99,999: 3 points

  • $100,000+: 4 minutes

Trading volume points (only Alpha tokens’ purchases are counted, sales are not counted)

  • Transaction volume $2: 1 cent

  • Transaction volume $4: 2 cents

  • Volume $8: 3 cents

  • Volume $16: 4 cents

  • ...

  • Volume $1,024: 10 points

  • Volume $2,048: 11 points

The formula for trading volume is that if you want to get x points, you must have 2^x trading volume.

If the Alpha token you are trading is from the BSC chain, the transaction volume can be divided by two, which means that you can get x points as long as you trade 2^(x-1). For example, you can get 11 points as long as you trade $1,024.

Where can I find Alpha token airdrop news?

Binance currently maintains a frequency of releasing Alpha airdrops every 1 to 3 days, and will announce them on Twitter as soon as possible. The Chinese channel and Binance International channel release them at about the same speed.

Usually the airdrop will be released on the same day, but there are occasional exceptions where it is released a few days in advance.

Each time there will be an announcement similar to the following:

As you can see, there is a points threshold for each airdrop (195 points in the above picture). Those who meet the threshold can consume 15 points to receive the airdrop.

Therefore, you cannot get every airdrop, because the more times you claim them, the more points will be deducted.

In addition to the Alpha airdrop, Binance also has a "Wallet TGE Event", which is in the Pancake Swap in the Binance wallet. This airdrop also has an Alpha points threshold, and points must be consumed to participate.

How to minimize the loss of Alpha points in actual practice?

But please note that Alpha points only count buying transactions, not selling. For example, if you buy $600 of B2 and then sell $600 of B2, only $600 of trading volume will be counted statistically, not $1,200.

I am used to operating in the Binance wallet, so the following figures all use the Binance wallet as an example.

After arriving at the Binance wallet, click "Trade" and choose to use USDT (or USDC or other assets) to buy the $B2 coin.

There are a few points to note:

  1. Don’t buy pirated coins. Like B2 in the picture below, you can see that many of the coins in the list are pirated. Don’t buy the wrong ones.

  2. Different chains have different losses and fees, and some even have clamping problems. If you don’t understand these details, the method more suitable for novices is to use the two currencies $B2 and $ZKJ on the BSC chain to swipe each other.

First use USDT to buy B2, and then exchange B2 for ZKJ, which is considered the second transaction:

Then change ZKJ to B2 (the third transaction), B2 to ZKJ (the fourth transaction)... and so on, until you reach the transaction volume you need.

Therefore, there is no need to exchange U into coins and then exchange coins back into U every time. Just use B2 and ZKJ to swipe each other, and each swipe is a transaction.

Alpha score loss

The loss of Alpha points may be caused by price slippage due to the small pool and transaction fees.

Therefore, the smaller the amount and the larger the currency, the lower the slippage will usually be (but it also depends on the current situation), so it is recommended that you choose a currency with a large trading volume.

Also, SUI chains have fewer clamp issues, but the volume of transactions is also lower.

In general, if you are a novice and want to find the safest (but not necessarily the cheapest) way to score points, I would recommend using B2 and ZKJ.

I used 2080U to refresh eight times, and the consumption was about 5~8U. This is a normal phenomenon. Sometimes it will be a little less, but you can just use this as a standard.

If you increase the transaction volume by half, you will probably lose half of it, and if you increase the transaction volume by one-third, you will probably lose one-third of it.

If there is a sudden large loss one day, it will be converted into another currency.

What are the benefits of Alpha airdrop?

Based on past experience (not necessarily in the future), Alpha currently distributes airdrops or TGEs almost every day, and occasionally every two days.

Each time it is around 70~100U. This number will fluctuate, with the lowest being around 50U and the highest being around 600U (NXPC, only once), but it is usually within the range of 70~100.
