Why is this important?
The development team has maintained a low hardware entry threshold while improving network speed, achieving a scarce balance between performance and decentralization. Once 50% of validating nodes migrate to the tz4 format, the new signature mechanism will take full effect.

Currently, the market has not reacted positively to this technical upgrade. The trading price of XTZ is around $0.58, down approximately 94% from its historical high of $9.12 in 2021. The current market capitalization of the project is $615 million.
