Global campaign to reward eligible USD1 holders across Spot, Funding, Margin, and Futures accounts
Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and digital asset exchange, today announced the launch of a new USD1 Holding Airdrop Campaign, offering eligible users the opportunity to share $40 million in World Liberty Financial (WLFI) token rewards.
The campaign will commence on January 23, 2026, at 00:00 (UTC) and will run through February 20, 2026, at 00:00 (UTC). During this period, users who hold World Liberty Financial USD (USD1) as net assets on the Binance platform may qualify to receive weekly WLFI token distributions.
Campaign Overview:
The USD1 Holding Airdrop Campaign is designed to reward long-term USD1 holders across multiple Binance account types. WLFI rewards will be distributed in four weekly installments, with $10 million in WLFI allocated per week.
The first airdrop distribution is scheduled for February 2, 2026, covering the accrual period from January 23, 2026, to January 30, 2026 (UTC). Subsequent distributions will occur weekly thereafter.
Eligibility Criteria:
To participate, users must hold USD1 as net assets in one or more of the following Binance account categories:
* Spot Accounts
*Funding Accounts
*Margin Accounts (USD1 used as collateral in Cross Margin, Isolated Margin, or Portfolio Margin)
* USDⓈ-M Futures Accounts (USD1 used as collateral, including Multi-Asset Mode)
USD1 used as collateral in Margin or USDⓈ-M Futures accounts will receive a 1.2× reward multiplier.
Participation requires successful completion of account verification (KYC) and residency in an eligible jurisdiction. Broker accounts are not eligible.
Reward Calculation and Distribution:
Rewards will begin accruing from January 23, 2026, at 00:00 (UTC) and are calculated based on users’ qualifying USD1 balances, defined as net holdings (assets minus liabilities).
Daily qualifying balances are determined using the lowest balance recorded from multiple hourly snapshots. Borrowed USD1, including assets obtained through Margin or VIP loans, is excluded from reward calculations.
Weekly rewards are calculated using the following formula:
User A holds 10,000 USD1 in Spot and 20,000 USD1 as collateral in Margin throughout week 1, and effective base APR is 20%, effective boosted APR is 24%, User A's rewards due to be received at the end of week 1 will be as follows:
[(10,000 * 20% * 7) ÷ 365] + [(20,000 * 24% * 7) ÷ 365] = 130.41 USD worth of WLFI
User B borrowed 5,000 USD1 from VIP loan or Margin (“liabilities”). Among this borrowed 5,000 USD1, 4,000 USD1 was used as collateral in Margin, the remaining 1,000 USD1 was held in their Spot Account in week 1. The effective base APR is 20%, effective boosted APR is 24%, User B’s rewards due to be received at the end of week 1 will be as follows:
Qualifying Balance = 0 
[(0 * 20% * 7) / 365] + [(0 * 24% * 7) /365] = 0 USD worth of WLFI
Rewards will be airdropped directly to users’ Spot Accounts and rounded down to eight decimal places. The WLFI token valuation used for distribution will be based on the official Binance market price one day prior to each distribution date.
Regulatory and Regional Considerations:
In compliance with MiCA and other applicable regulatory requirements, certain jurisdictions are excluded from participation. The list of restricted regions may be updated periodically to reflect evolving legal and regulatory obligations. Products and services referenced may not be available in all regions.
