The trade wars started by the United States are causing a lot of problems in the markets and investors are getting very confused. Because of the trade wars some traders are selling their Bitcoin. Buying gold and silver instead.. Is this the end of Bitcoin or is it just a surprising turn of events? Bitcoin is still a digital money and people are wondering what will happen to it next. The situation, with Bitcoin is very uncertain. People are waiting to see what will happen. Get ready we are going to look closely at the big problem that is getting a lot of attention on Wall Street and in other places too.
The Bitcoin price has dropped a lot. It is all over the news. Bitcoin was at $95,500. Then it went down to $91,935 in a very short time. This big drop made people who bought Bitcoin hoping it would go up lose a lot of money. They lost over $680 million. People who trade Bitcoin are very surprised and upset.
By the middle of January the Bitcoin price was around $92,663. When you look at the charts you can see that Bitcoin might go down more. If the people who buy Bitcoin do not support it the price might go down to $80,000. The Bitcoin price is not looking good. Bitcoin is going down. People are worried, about Bitcoin. Things are pretty bad now but some big companies are still buying a lot of Bitcoin. 30,000 BTC to be exact. They are taking in five times Bitcoin than the people who mine it are putting out. This is a sign that the big players, the ones, with a lot of Bitcoin are not getting scared and selling everything just yet. They are still buying Bitcoin.
When we talk about metals it is a really great thing. Gold is doing well it went up to a new high of over $4,600 per ounce and even got to $4,700. This happened because people are worried about tariffs and they think gold is a thing to invest in. The price of gold went up by 6 percent at the beginning of 2026. If we look at the few days the price of gold was $4,663, which is more than it was 10 days ago when it was $4,474. Precious metals, like gold are really popular now. Silver is really doing great. It is doing better than people thought it would. Since 2025 the price of Silver has gone up by a 170 percent. Now Silver costs $93 per ounce. This is a deal because the price of Silver compared to the price of Gold is the lowest it has been in thirteen years. The ratio of Gold to Silver is now fifty.
People need Silver for things like solar panels, electric vehicles and computers. This means there is not Silver to go around. China is also not sending much Silver to other countries as it used to. So people are buying up all the Silver they can get. This is called a " run" on Silver. Silver is really, in demand now.
The bad thing in this story is the increasing trade wars in the United States.
President Trumps idea to buy Greenland or put taxes on things from eight European countries is causing a lot of stress around the world.
This is making it hard for the United States and Europe to make deals. It is also affecting the markets.
This is happening after the United States and China said they would not fight anymore. The United States is still putting very high taxes on things from China.
The International Monetary Fund is warning that this could hurt the way the world economy grows and make trade rules confusing.
People are getting nervous. This is affecting the value of digital money.
On the hand people are buying metals like gold because they think it will be a good way to protect their money from inflation and uncertainty.
The United States trade wars are really the problem here and the trade wars are causing a lot of problems, for the United States and other countries.
Let us take a look at Bitcoin. The reason Bitcoin is so volatile is that people are making bets with borrowed money and this is happening at the same time as some big problems in the world. There are also a lot of problems in the world that are making people nervous and this is affecting how much money is available to invest.
Because of all these problems people are turning to Gold and Silver. They think these are assets that will be safe. Silver is special because people buy it to invest in and also to use in industry. This means that Silver is getting a lot of attention and its price might go to $100 because it is hard to find.
Something interesting is happening with how these different investmentsre related to each other. Bitcoin used to be separate from finance but now it is doing the same thing as the stock market. When stocks are selling off Bitcoin is also going down. At the time metals like Gold and Silver are doing the opposite. They are going up. This is a change from how things used to be. Bitcoin is no longer separate, from finance and metals are becoming more popular.
What is next for Bitcoin? People who study Bitcoin are not sure what to think. Some people think Bitcoin will go down to fifty thousand dollars if the stock market gets worse.. Other people think Bitcoin will go up to one hundred twenty five thousand dollars to two hundred twenty five thousand dollars because big companies are buying Bitcoin and because of what happened in the past when Bitcoin was reduced. Some computer programs think Bitcoin will be worth ninety four thousand five hundred dollars by the end of January. They think one hundred thousand dollars is a very important price for Bitcoin to break through.
If countries are nicer to each other and make it easier for people to buy and sell Bitcoin then Bitcoin could go up to one hundred fifty thousand dollars by the end of the year.. People should watch the ninety thousand dollar price because if Bitcoin goes below that it could get into big trouble, for Bitcoin.
