Most people think Iraq, Iran, and Venezuela are about oil.

Most people think Iraq, Iran and Venezuela are about oil.
Thatâs the surface story.
It's about China & I'll prove it!
Look, hereâs the deeper question most never ask:
What does Iraq have in common with China today?
And no â itâs not what the media keeps repeating.
Itâs not just oil.
Itâs who controls the system around the oil.
Back in the early 2000s, Iraq wasnât just selling oil.
Iraq was threatening to change how oil was priced and settled.
They began moving away from the dollar system.
Thatâs when Iraq stopped being âa problem nationâ
and started becoming a systemic threat.
Fast forward to today.
China doesnât need to invade countries to control oil.
China controls oil through:
- Long-term purchase agreements
- Oil-for-debt structures
- Shadow shipping networks
- Non-dollar settlement routes
Iran and Venezuela became perfect examples.
â
Iran sends roughly 1.4â1.6 million barrels per day, and the vast majority flows to China through discounted, off-the-books routes.
â
Venezuela exports around 700,000â900,000 barrels per day, with China acting as the primary destination and financier through debt-backed supply deals.
Thatâs not just energy.
Thatâs geopolitical leverage.
China wasnât just buying oil.
China was controlling the exit door after United States put sanctions on them.
So whatâs happening now?
The U.S. isnât âstarting wars.â
IT'S BREAKING CONTROL CHAINS.
Step by step.
First, sanctions didnât target countries â they targeted:
- Shipping companies
- Insurance
- Ports
- Refiners
- Payment rails
Thatâs not military strategy.
Thatâs financial warfare.
Then came blockades, seizures, and pressure at sea â the one place where oil canât hide.
And finally, political shock.
Because once you break:
- Who ships the oil
- Who insures it
- Who settles the payments
You donât need to âownâ the oil fields.
You own the system that decides who gets paid.
This is the same lesson Iraq taught years ago.
It was never just about oil in the ground.
It was about:
- Currency dominance
- Trade settlement power
- Control over global cashflow
Oil is just the bloodstream.
The real fight is over who controls the heart.
Thatâs why Iran matters.
Thatâs why Venezuela matters.
And thatâs why China is in the middle of this â whether the headlines say so or not.
The rich donât argue politics.
They study systems.
Because when systems shift, fortunes shift with them.$TAO
