1️⃣▪️What Is $VANRY?
VANRY is the native token of the Vanar Chain, a Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem designed to support high-speed transactions, decentralized applications (dApps), gaming, entertainment, metaverse use-cases, and smart contract execution. As the core utility asset of the Vanar network, $VANRY functions as the gas token for transactions and pays fees for smart contract operation.
The Vanar Chain aims to offer developers and users scalable, efficient, and secure blockchain infrastructure, with a focus on mainstream applications that go beyond traditional financial use-cases.
2️⃣▪️Binance and the VANRY Token Swap
Transition from TVK to VANRY
Before becoming VANRY, the token operated under the ticker $TVK as part of the Virtua Kolect ecosystem. Binance supported a token swap and rebranding, transitioning all TVK to VANRY on a 1:1 basis. After this swap, Binance opened deposits and withdrawals for VANRY while discontinuing TVK support — effectively making VANRY the active tradable token on the platform.
This transition simplified the token identity for users and aligned Binance’s listing with Vanar’s updated branding and ecosystem direction.
3️⃣▪️How Binance Lists and Supports VANRY
Spot Trading
VANRY is actively traded on Binance’s spot market, with several trading pairs such as VANRY/USDT, VANRY/USDC, and even VANRY/TRY (Turkish Lira), giving traders flexibility in how they access the token.
Binance typically offers fee discounts on certain pairs — for example, a 20% discount on fees for some $VANRY trading pairs — which can help reduce trading costs for users holding BNB.
Earn & Savings Products
Binance has also integrated VANRY into its Simple Earn platform, allowing users to stake or lock VANRY tokens in fixed-term products. During promotional periods, subscribers could earn daily rewards up to ~8.9% APR, and participate in airdrop incentives tied to maintaining locked positions.
4️⃣▪️Economic Role and Token Utility
Gas Fees & Network Operations
On the Vanar network, VANRY serves as the required gas token — meaning it’s necessary to pay fees when sending transactions or executing smart contracts.
Unlike tokens that simply serve as speculative instruments, VANRY has real operational use on its native chain, giving it fundamental demand from activity on the network itself.
Staking & Validation
Holders can stake VANRY through the network’s delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) mechanism to support validators and secure the blockchain. Stakers earn rewards as part of the validation process, helping incentivize network participation.
