China tested a combat drone with 100% shooting accuracy, according to the South China Morning Post 🤔
The drone fired from an altitude of around 10 meters and a distance of 100 meters, conducting 20 single shots all of them hit the target. About half of the hits landed within a radius of roughly 11 cm, which is comparable to head-level accuracy.
Notably, the drone is equipped with a standard infantry rifle without any special modifications. The high precision is attributed to advanced stabilization systems, targeting algorithms, and a computerized fire-control system.
At this stage, the drone is only capable of single-shot firing, and there is no information yet about its adoption into active service.
