But #Kaspa didn’t exist yet (launched in 2021).
Kaspa isn’t a “pure DAG” limited by bandwidth, state bloat, or full-node bottlenecks. Its BlockDAG architecture allows parallel block production with no orphan waste, supports very high block rates (10 BPS today, targeting 100), and still preserves full PoW security.
On top of that, Kaspa keeps a lean base layer, ideal for future execution layers and rollups.
